Meet And Greet With Chuck Dietz

Chuck Dietz a young heavy metal/youtube guitarist from Pittsburgh Pensylvania America who until he got his first guitar in Dec 2003 was a skakeboarder got introduced to techniques like reading guitar tabs, palm-muting, and began practicing songs by Metallica as well as other songs from the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video games. A few weeks later, he began working on the solo to "Sanitarium" and the song "Master of Puppets" In May of 2004, he was signed up for lessons at a local guitar shop, he practiced every day and learned how to alternate pick, play chords, scales, and all the other basics, he also practiced utilizing scales for improvising solos in specific keys. His skills increased at a rapid pace as he started using chords and scales to write own songs. In 2006. he joined a band Fallen Silence and they wrote songs very similar to their influences Metallica/Trivium and also covered Master of Puppets and "Sweating Bullets" by Megadeth. However he left the band. and joined Eternity Lost by that same year At the end of 2006, He became a YouTuber when he uploaded a video for a contest by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. And in 2007, he uploaded a few more guitar videos, one of them being a solo he just made up for fun that would later be known by millions. In the next few years he co-wrote songs with Mike and Sean of Eternity Lost for their "Legacy" album. by this time he was gigging at least once a month with a cover band called Yinz Guyz. And of course, worked on more YouTube videos in order to satisfy the growing fanbase! He began taking jazz lessons from a private instructor in 2009 which took him to a whole new level musically. Advanced chord formulas, beautiful phrasing, and the ability to read music.
