IFEKLYNE CHARITY FOUNDATION VISITS THE WASSA CAMP FOR INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS IN APO AREA OF ABUJA ON THE 25TH OF JULY 2015

In its quest of giving hope for the living, Ifeklyne Charity foundation visits the Wassa camp for the Internally displaced persons(IDPs) in the Apo Area of Abuja with relief materials (food stuffs and Mosquito nets )to donate to the IDPS.The Wassa camp is an estate that accommodates almost five thousand IDPs mostly from Gwoza (Borno state), Adamawa, Yobe. The IDPs came out en masse ranging from the Aged, Men and Women, Youths and children ravaged by the act of terror and pain of losing loved ones, property and means of livelihood.
However, smiles was eminent on their faces as the vice chairman of the IDPs Mr Abubakar Yakubu aptly puts it in his reception speech, ”we are Grateful to Ifeklyne Charity foundation for remembering us today, we are glad that you came at the point where our Food stock has ran out and we can barely eat with our families here, God will bless you all, and we want to appeal to Government that we need businesses and trade so we can take care of our families especially our Women that fall sick often “.Hajiya zainab umaru a Woman from Gwoza who lost her husband and two Kids to the insurgents spoke on behalf of the Women ”We are seriously in need of a Hospital here in the camp because our Women give birth in the house where is not conducive, and when we fall sick with our children we barely can get medications to take, Food is an issue too, so we are appealing to Government and spirited individuals like Ifeklyne Charity Foundation to help us”.Mr Ifeaka Innocent Ogbolime the CEO of the Foundation was full of concern to the plight of the IDPs with the situation in the camp and promised to see that the issue of trade for the IDPs is treated soon with a plan to kick start intensive training on vocational skill, so that they can engage in meaningful businesses afterwards. --- Best regards / Sincères salutations Ifeaka Innocent Ogbolime
